In Spain the calculation for tax was different than what we had in our system, for all countries using our products we early round tax but in Spain we need to late round this:
An override has been added to allow for late quantity rounding to be applied should a fitting centre require this.
Services and region charges have been updated to allow for up to 4 decimal places.
This change allows for greater precision for the rounding of Ex VAT prices for the following items:
Region Charge (Like EcoTaxes) - Currently only editable in the database
Service prices (Wheel alignment, nitrogen inflation, etc) - Editable in the Fitting Centre Admin
Tyre Fitment Charges - Editable in the Fitting Centre Admin
The ability to set ExVAT prices in the services and tyre fitment charge sections allow us to have rounding to more whole figures. It can result in the improvement for things like the fitting charge being 20.50, then 40.99 is now 41.00 for 2 tyres.
We can also be more precise on the sell out price of services, as sometimes we would save the ex vat price and then when it is re-rounded again it may be off, e.g. (as a made up example 19.96 rounds down to 16.5 before tax and then back up to 19.97 after saving it to 2 decimal places).
On Service content pages we allow the parent service to be added using a placeholder to pull through the Call-to-action. A request was made from First Stop to allow for multiple Call-to-Actions per content page, e.g. 2 Wheel Alignment can now also list 4 wheel alignment:
Multiple call-to-actions can now be added to the page using a placeholder with the service ID
Services can be created without content pages so that the content is not duplicated for similar services
Services without a content page will not display in the navigation as they fall under the parent service page
