✨ New Features

Updates to the service request form to make it dynamic

Within the websites there is a service request form where a customer enters their Registration and a list of fixed services display. The customer can select these services and add comments to make a service enquiry. This was causing problems as there were services such as MOT listed on websites where the dealer is a Mobile Tyre Fitter.

Changes have been made to make this page more dynamic:

  • Services are now listed based on the services that a dealer offers (including any not sold on the website), these can be selected in the Fitting Centre admin under Settings -- > Service Request Form

  • Additional services can also be added from the fitting centre admin area e.g. a dealer might offer Bodywork repairs, this can now ben added as an option for the customer to select if needed

Service Quantities

There are some services with the websites that require a quantity. Whilst we do support per wheel/per tyre services it was fixed based on the number of tyres added to a basket e.g. 2 tyres added to the basket, customer adds Nitrogen Inflation which automatically calculates as a quantity of 2:

  • Services can now be configured on a per/wheel tyre basis as standalone without the need to purchase tyres (This is based on the service and is configured by the support team)

  • Customers can select a quantity for those services that have the flag enabled including from individual service pages from the Call to Action buttons

Summer Tyre Filter added to the website filters

A request from First Stop was made to include a filter for Summer tyres, whilst this is not something that is required much in teh UK we have made this change to support countries that do need it:

  • An additional filter for summer tyres has now been added to the filter that displays on the left in tyre search results

NOTE: As a phase 2 we will be reviewing all areas of the admin area that require this new filter

Equity/VC Reseller role (First Stop EU specific)

First Stop requested to have a reseller role but restricted to all Equity or VC dealers, this is because some countries have managers who oversee all Equity or all VC and they don't want access being granted to users who don't need it:

  • A new level has been added to the already existing Reseller role where this can now be restricted to all VC or all Equity for a country.

  • Only the Home, Bookings, Fitting Centres and Reports menu items will be available for this role as these are fitting centre specific.

🔧 Improvements

Service content page

  • New Call to Action function for service pages – we can now show the Call-to-Action if a service is available to purchase, if it is not an online service a button will display allowing the customer to click for a quote

  • Devis link (First Stop EU Only)– For dealers in France that use Devis a new marker has been created which if a service uses Devis will redirect the customer to Devis to get a quote, if Devis is not available the customer is redirected to the service request form on the website.

Admin area

  • Show enquiries as resolved on the fitting centre admin home page – all enquiries were displaying on the admin home as not resolved when some were, this has now been updated to show the correct status

  • Links removed on the fitting centre admin home page (First Stop EU Only) – it was requested that the quick links on the admin home page are removed as for most users the majority of sections are read only

  • All translations updated from POEditor

Website

  • Move the booking slot custom message under the calendar – this was displaying at the bottom of the messages on the checkout page and has now been moved under the calendar

  • Promotions link added to the top navigation to make it clear for customers and easier to find

  • All translations updated from POEditor

🐞 Fixes

  • There was an issue with the services on the home page displaying the Ex VAT cost (First Stop EU specific) - this has now been fixed

  • An issue has been resolved where the Google Location could not be set in the admin

  • There was an issue where a fitting centre admin were not able to assign their custom content pages to the menu in the admin - this is now fixed
